Our System Design support is a 3-phased program: Preliminary System Specification, System Modeling, and Equipment Layout and Integration.

1) Preliminary System Specification

  • Preprocessing unit operation selection guided discussions - What processes do you really need?
  • Appreciative Design process to ensure customer specifications are met - Functional Requirements, Constraints, and Design Parameters are mapped back to stakeholder input.
  • Use our preferred partner equipment (BM&M, BE&E, Interquip, Norris Thermal, and others) or your specified equipment
  • Systems specification does not have to use FC proprietary equipment if not the most beneficial for your project

2) System Modeling

Complete Techno Economic Analysis of the facility front end

Utilizing our proprietary software SiPS TEA (Simulation of Preprocessing Systems for Techno Economic Analysis) we can provide:

  • Mass and Energy Balances
  • CAPEX Estimates
  • OPEX Estimates
  • Critical Materaial Attribute (CMA) tracking
  • Energy Source Options

3) Equipment Layout and Integration

  • Finalize equipment selection and specification
  • Connection points for transitions and hoppers specified
  • Power specifications finalized and documented
  • Ready to hand off to EPC firm executing the project
